Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus
3.0
When I began this book, I did not know what to expect. I thought it was going to be a romance novel, and then, out of nowhere, the plot changed. That's when I got really hooked.
Bonnie Garmus did a good job using humour and her scientific knowledge to make a one-of-a-kind novel. Even when the language is purely scientific, she makes it accessible to the reader through side characters.
It's a feel-good story, which I enjoyed reading. Nevertheless, it didn't blow my mind (which is okay).
