Jack Frost, Volume 5: The End Becomes the Beginning by William Joyce

3.0

Okay, I feel very conflicted. I have loved every book in this series, but this one.. has me feeling very confused. I wasn't a fan of the beginning or middle, I feel like there were some very odd choices made just to jump us to current day and it didn't really make sense to the story or to the rest of the series. However, once we got the ending and to the final climax of the story... I really enjoyed it. I love the way it ended. I feel like there was pressure on making a good Jack Frost story because of the movie, and that did this book a disservice, but otherwise it ended well and did make sense once we got there.

Also, this took me almost a year to finish just because I couldn't get into it which was not the case at all with the other books. This was definitely the weakest of the five, though like I said, it did end strong.
