I feel like I am living in some parallel universe where everyone read a different book than me.
Not for me.
Ok, I want to be fair and elaborate on why this wasn’t for me.
I was initially intrigued by the mysterious Whit and despite the odd and choppy writing style persevered well past the point of enjoyment.
I’ve read a lot of books that are complete and utter fiction but there always seems to have been at least some level of plausibility there, at least in the characters behaviour. This, for me just felt very rough and unfinished . A lot of the issues and main plot points felt poorly explored and handled and I just couldn’t connect, at all.
