I absolutely cannot deny how incredible the writing in this book is; in fact, I fell in love with its elegant descriptiveness. It's hard for me to find the right words to describe my feelings about this book, considering they're definitely mixed, so all I can really say is (not to sound too much like a wimp) this story is a bit too much for me, personally. Perhaps it's my own personal preference for books that aren't so intense and aggressive, in the ways that this book was (heavy with anger that's too much for me). Iron Widow is an incredibly passionate story with incredible fluidity in descriptive writing, but all I can really say is it wasn't quite the right book for me.
