I'm kicking myself for how long this was on my TBR and I just got to reading it!
I was able to read this fairly uninterrupted at work and I was hooked within the first chapter and just enjoyed the brisk pacing, characters and world building that pulled me and was a great read as I turned page after page.
The dynamic between Lila and Kell had a rocky start but by the end, idk, they felt natural and I'm liking their current dynamic especially with the back n forth of saving each other they way do.
I just placed a hold for the next book at the library! 😁
