Map of Fates by Maggie Hall

5.0

Hands down the best read of the 2016. I cannot imagine something or someone outdoing Stellan. That character is as close to my heart as Morpheus from the Splintered series and that says a lot.

I liked that Avery was a little bit tougher in this part. Finally she realised that this has everything to do with her and her decisions and that she has the power to decide for herself which was interesting to watch. She grew a lot from the start of the series but she is still herself.

The story was as gripping as in the first part, if not more and I was enjoying every damn minute of it. I still cannot understand how Maggie Hall can come up with so many clues and plot twists. I would got lost in my thoughts. Really, that is admirable.

All in all, I love this series too much. It surprises me how emotional I got while reading certain scenes and how much I wanted the next part. Let´s be honest, the ending was EPIC and it screamed for immediate sequel. I cannot wait to have this book in my bookshelf and brand it with my colourful stickers, post-it notes and my handwitten notes. Because that is what I do to books that had stolen a piece of my heart.
