Dr. Stanton by T.L. Swan

5.0

We meet Ashley dancing with some guy at a bar in Vegas. She is out with some girlfriends, having a weekend. She is a med student in New York. Who does she meet that night? How does she meet him? Why does she pick him out of everyone in the club to help her? Who is he? Who is his brother and why is there security outside every door of the hall in that hotel on that floor? When she moves for her last year of residency, where does she end up going? When she works to find a part time job, what does she end up applying for and does she accept the job? When she gets to her day job as an intern at the hospital, who does she run into that she has met before? This book is full of tense moments, even needed tissues at one point. I hated watching all the 'conspiracy' things happening to try to keep two people as star-crossed lovers. There is some suspense in parts, and some romance in others. Watching the pair together you can clearly see they should be together. What happens when Stanton finds out about Owen? What happens? What does his mother do in response to Owen? You're going to have to read this book to see if Ashley gets her man.
