Meet Sorceline. A young apprentice under Archibald Balzar, studying cryptozoology and competing with five other students to become his assistant by the end of the summer. But it is no ordinary summer on the Isle of Vorn. Zombie pixies. Petrified statues. No cryptid nor human seems to be safe from the strange plot that is unfolding. And Sorceline and Willa take it upon themselves to solve this mystery - before more people get hurt.

I loved reading this book. The mystery was thrilling, the twists and turns kept on my toes, and the amazing illustrations drew me into the atmosphere and the world. I could not put this book down until I read the final page! The characters were endearing, and I am excited to get to know them better when the rest of the books are translated. I found the illustrations beautiful, atmospheric, and drew me right into this magical world.

A big thank you to the publishers and Netgalley for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I had so much fun reading this graphic novel. I am excited to follow Sorceline's adventures in future books to come, and I definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys beautiful graphic novels, stories with magical creatures, and a mystery that keeps you guessing around every turn.
