The Upside of Falling Down by Rebekah Crane

4.0

The Upside of Falling Down by Rebekah Crane is a contemporary romance about Clementine Haas. Clementine wakes up in the hospital to find out that she has amnesia. As she tries to recover her memory, she decides to do a bit of self-discovery and find out who she really is, with or without her memories.

Romance, friendships, and adventure in the midst of finding out who you are. Whilst I really liked the main characters, Clementine and Kieran, I loved the side characters and following all the different relationships (love interests, friends, siblings) that unfold throughout the book.

The pacing is fairly steady throughout, nothing dragged and the writing style was easy to read. It is a bit predictable and I did guess the reveal at the end but that was more exciting than disappointing.

I chose this book for the Irish readathon as it is based in Ireland and am so glad that I did. I highly recommend this book to everyone out there that loves a good romance. I would love to see this adapted into a movie, I would absolutely watch it, as well as read it again.
