The Plot to Kill Hitler: Dietrich Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Spy, Unlikely Hero by Patricia McCormick

5.0

This book tells the life story of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a man who was part of the plan to assassinate Hitler. It talks about the experiences in his life that led to his career and his political involvement. It also includes a brief history of World War II and why it happened.

I had never even heard of Bonhoeffer before I read this book, but I'm grateful to know about him now. He was a Christian leader who refused to shy away from the hard subjects. This book is very informative and fast-paced enough to keep the reader's interest. This is the second book I have read by the author and so far, she hasn't disappointed me.
