Turning thirty and getting dumped for not living outside her comfort zone Alex drunkenly decides to quit her job and relocate from New Zealand to New York. Looking to finally pursue her dream of being a writer. Arriving in New York she has issues with her accommodation and bumps, literally, into a handsome, yet grumpy New Yorker.

Managing to find a place to crash and a dead beat job she isn't quite living the dream but she is at least trying. Michael the guy from the coffee shop keeps appearing in her life and still appears grumpy no matter what she does. Somewhere along the line, she manages to gain a better job and starts writing a blog about being a single woman in New York. Highlighting the good, the bad and the ugly. However, with things improving with Michael can she really give up her dream of writing for a chance at a happy ever after?

A funny read, taking you on a journey of self-discovery and chasing after dreams.
