All opinions are my own. Thank you to A.N. Sage for this Advanced Reader Copy.

I'm not quite decided if my rating is 4.75 or 5 stars but I'm going with 5 right now.

I'm obsessed with this series so far!

A.N Sage has a way of writing mystery books that keep you at the edge of your seat. I was compelled to read this book in one sitting and it was an enjoyable few hours.

Plot:
We follow Piper, Joe and Stella as they try solve yet another murder in town. I personally am obsessed with the way the mystery around the killer plays out. I'm guessing with Piper along the way and basically guessing correctly just before she figures it out.
But also the sub plots, how is Harry Houdini significant to the story, whats going on with Pipers family and powers, what happened to Stella? Its all slowly played out and I love it!

World building:
Sage has a great way of describing the world in a way where its showed, not just told. Simply great!

Characters:
Omg the characters are diverse is personality, species, and none of them feel flat or 2D at all. The romance is veeeery slow burn and I love it.
Also obsessed with Harry 😍😍

Flow/pacing:
The book feels face-paced in the aspect of plot points. But it takes the majority or the book for the main mystery to get wrapped up. And slow-paced for the subplots to last multiple books and I love it. It meshes so well.

Overall enjoyment:
10/10. Just obsessed. I have so many questions. Not enough answers. No cliff hanger but id give my left arm for the next book already.

Can't wait!!
