My first audio book! I should preface this review by saying I did take a two week hiatus from starting and finishing this book BUT that was because I was flying transatlantic and it just felt like bad juju.
I have NO complaints about this book! I am skeptical of audiobooks only because I usually zone out in podcasts or shows if it doesn’t capture my interest and keep my interest BUT this book dragged my along (willingly) the entire way, I was surprised! The entire time I kept imagining these characters as if this were playing out in a film and I really loved it. For me, I could really see this story being told on screen. This author tells this story beautifully and the character development is heart tugging. I loved taking this journey with Camino & Yahaira.
