The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
by Douglas Adams
i thought i might like this book more. it was short and not a struggle to read, but i sadly didn't love it. it never really pulled me in, it sort of always felt like a chore. It meandered a lot, and didn't explain a lot, in same ways reminding me of kurt Vonnegut. It jumped all over the place, and I don't just mean in space. I thought marvin the depressed robot was funny, and it was cool to read about the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy and compare it to a modern day iphone, and I can appreciate how snarky/satirical it was; but overall I was not super into it; I don't feel compelled to read any more of his books or see the movie.
