A Line to Kill by Anthony Horowitz

I thought this was a very fun murder mystery! The characters and the setting were very interesting and it was fun to visualize everything happening. I do feel like throwing in that Anne Cleary did it at the end felt a bit strange, almost planned at the last minute. It made sense to me that she would seek revenge for her son, but I felt like there weren’t enough good clues (Hawthorne points to “Why would Charles tell you he was going to fire Abbott?” as a reason for being suspicious of her) other than the motive. Maybe on a second read-through I’d be able to pick up on more.

Overall I liked this and will continue to read the other two books in the series. Did I accidentally read the last book in the series? Who can tell? Hopefully it’s like Anthony says and you can read it in any order.
