You guysssss! Ugh. I loved this one so much. I thought I loved Kane and Abel’s story the most (and while Abel will be my favorite FMC see the first book in this series) I could not get enough of Lahve and Candy.
Lahve, *swoon* Lahve… where do I even begin? There is something about a 3,000+ years old male being that wants you and is consumed with your entire existence. Candy just so happens to be the center of Lahves focus (what a lucky lady). Candy has her own unique “scars” and story. She leaves an impact on the Lahve. This is a difficult experience to process for Lahve, because of who he is and he is supposed to be neutral or devoid of emotions when making decisions for the aliens/human future. However, he cannot be the being he used to be with Candy in his life now. Without going into spoilers, this story is shocking to the world (read book 1&2) and honestly it was everything the readers wanted. Well, maybe just some readers and I was definitely one of them!!
