V for Vendetta by Alan Moore

5.0

Alan Moore has said that he was in a bad mood during the Eighties. I think he simply lived during an awful time. No matter how her memory is being whitewashed these days, don't forget that Margaret Thatcher wanted to do things like sterilize homosexuals and put them in camps. V for Vendetta is darkly beautiful. It is also intelligent and the film absolutely missed the point of the book.
