Most interesting crime/mystery novel I have read in a while. I did mostly really like it. The writing was really good, the characters were interesting and the the messaging was powerful.
Just some discussion of relational violence and cancel culture tropes felt unwhole. Maybe that makes sense from the perspective of the first-person-narrator, for me it felt old. Still a mostly great book and gripping read.
