The Daughters of Maine by Tish Thawer

4.0

I really like this whole story. It's unique, and I love the way it bounces back and forth through time. I enjoyed the second book more than the first one. It was more exciting and faster paced. I still see some of the same issues I saw with the first one, like sometimes bland dialogue and it doesn't feel fully fleshed out in some spots. I wish it was a little longer, so some parts weren't glossed over. But all in all, the storyline is good, and I wasn't ready for the surprise at the end. I'm anxious to read book 3.
