This is probably my favourite book of 2022. Wow.
I loved the world's mixture of fantasy/mundane. I felt so connected to all the children, as if I were taking care of them. This book had a magical feel. Heartwarming and beautiful.
I appreciated the normality of the lack of work-life balance—acknowledging his age and the insecurities that accompany him. We got to see Linus grow into a different, more confident and self appreciative person.
