If I could give this a 10/5, I would. I learned SO much about the history of the region and how to be a better anti-Zionist advocate. I’ve always been very passionate about a free Palestine and after reading this book I feel even more inspired, passionate, and most importantly—hopeful and motivated to keep speaking up. Kern is an extremely eloquent and witty writer. They broke down subjects that I would’ve otherwise found very difficult to absorb into very simple and easy-to-understand words, complete with an excellent sense of humor. Their writing is so engaging that I could not put this book down. If you’re unfamiliar with Israel/Palestine and want to gain a better understanding of this so-called-conflict (it’s not; it’s racial apartheid and genocide plain and simple), this book is a MUST read.
