There wasn’t a lot of depth to the characters. The MMC was your typical guy with sex on his brain constantly. He rarely commented on the FMC’s intellect or anything other than her body. And the FMC was the same towards him. I enjoyed the first half while I was waiting for the catalyst that would cause the characters to be vulnerable and really start talking to each other, but it never happened. About halfway through, I realized I really hated the MMC and from that point on everything he did annoyed me.
After the 3rd act breakup and he was just moping around Gary’s house, I couldn’t get over how he was acting like a pathetic loser. Just apologize to the girl and then leave her alone. You can’t avoid someone then be upset they aren’t reaching out to you.
