Fate of the Sun King by Nisha J. Tuli

3.5

Fate of the Sun King is the third installment, and without giving any spoilers, Tuli has done an excellent job allowing the reader to glimpse the episodic story arc while keeping the momentum of the overall story arc. The stakes are higher, the tension is brimming (and finally pays off!), and the pressure of what Lor has to achieve has intensified. Told in dual timeline chapters, the reader understands the events that catapult into today, giving us a closer look at the parallels of the star-crossed lovers and allowing us to speculate what could be changed. One of my favorite stories of the series to date, and I can't wait to read more.
