The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
5.0
I didn't know much about the book before I read it I only knew some booktuber were going crazy over it. And after reading it I have to say they are absolutely right and I cannot not write down my thoughts about The fault in your stars. I love the simplicity and honesty of the book. How the characters just go on and don't give up. And altough its a book where death plays a huge role I felt the book was very very positive.
I have read a few reviews in which people say the end is rather aprupt or they speculate that Hazel is to sick to tell the story or died but I thought the end was perfect. Because there was not more to tell concerning the story of Augustus and Hazel. It's just like in the Van Houlten book. We want to know what happened to Hazel as much as Hazel wants to know what happened to Anna's mom and the hamster. And the reader can just guess.
And the absolutely most wonderful thing about the book was that altough I cried consistenlty for at least the last fitfty pages of the book I went to bed with a smile on my face after I finished it.
