This book is exactly what I thought romance books would be when I first got into romance books years ago. That is not a good thing. I had originally thought they would be shallow, lacking in plot and filled with unfleshed out characters. This book delivers all of that and more! The FMC is such a pick me girl and to be honest with you, this is such a common theme across Lynn Painter books that I am fully convinced that Lynn Painter herself, is a pick me girl. I ended up hate reading this book by the second half. It was my last chance with a Lynn Painter book and I am officially not a fan. Skip this book and read something by Emily Henry instead. Read something a kindergarten wrote, even, it would be more fleshed out. Also, the cover is so cute and extremely misleading. The Amy plot is so stupid and lasts for like two pages.
