Series is still very good. I will definitely be continuing. I’m interested in everything going down with like the council and everything.

However.

This was not the couple for me. I got the ick several times. Particularly because they met when he was nine and she was three. That is a wild age gap for children. They “lost touch” so to say when he was 14 and she was 8. I just found some of it to be yucky. I understand that their friendship wasn’t inappropriate, it’s actually more of when adult Clay references how stubborn “his Tally” still is. Like bro she was barely formed when you knew her, but I digress.

Then there is the whole weirdness of Clay being hung up on how many people she’s been with. He even points out that it shouldn’t bother him, and that other women in his pack are sexual and he doesn’t judge them but he’s got this whole yuck “you’ve always been mine” kinda thing going on

Also. I just don’t really like Tally as a character. I think I would be more receptive to these two being together if I didn’t actively dislike Tally. She is better during the last like 20% of the book, but still not my favorite.

I didn’t really enjoy the chemistry between the two of them. I don’t know. This couple was by far my least favorite so far. But I’m interested in some of the world plot developments that are happening so onto the next book
