Loathing You

Around halfway through I realized that this book felt very Wattpad-esque because it was originally published to Wattpad in the first place. Which, yeah, that makes sense.
This book is very much a guilty pleasure to me... The writing is pretty mediocre in a lot of parts, but there were moments that definitely ended up sticking with me too. I especially liked the exchange between Adaline and Juliette on page 156, "I'm sorry if I ever made you feel like you weren't [beautiful]."
I acknowledge this book is self published, but it also definitely would've benefited from more proofing and edits. You'll come across a couple glaring typos every now and then, and there's a lot of moments where you'll see stray periods or uncapitalized words.
There are other gripes I have (Kai's explanation for staying Juliette's friend throughout the years is pretty Bad in my opinion), but ultimately I picked up this book because I was interested in the dynamic between Adaline and Juliette, and though it wasn't everything I hoped for, I still found myself enjoying it.
