On Being Unreasonable by Kirsty Sedgman

funny hopeful informative inspiring reflective medium-paced

A fantastic and witty interdisciplinary book on why we need to be unreasonable sometimes to ensure that we continuously become a more connected, collaborative, and progressive society. The perfect book for me that blends many areas of social sciences to illustrate, with modern and historical examples, the many times what some deemed as 'unreasonable' is actually 'reasonable'. I loved that the book goes far beyond telling us we need to be more tolerant and empathic, but actually asks us to challenge the norms that do more harm than good.
