Book five in an interconnected series, I don’t think it’s necessary to read the prior books but each couple in the group has their own book and they are very prevalent in this one. 

Maggie and Lachlan are the only single ones left in the group, so they agree on a one night with no strings. When Maggie finds out she’s pregnant, Lachlan makes it his mission to be there for her in anyway possible and asks “Can we try?” what starts as a friendship turns into coparenting and morphs into relationship. There relationship was sweet and seeing the found family aspects and how they relied on one another was tear jerking but it just felt a little repetitive and some phrases would be expanded on when I found it unnecessary. It fell a little flat after reading brogans book.
