I was really expecting to love this, but I found it a bit of a slow read at the beginning. In fact, my loan period expired and I had to return it to the library and take it out again afterwards.
But I did enjoy the book a lot by the end. The protagonist, Flavia was humorous and intelligent. I found that by the second half of the book I barely put it down and powered through the rest of it. I'm definitely intrigued and am going to look for the second book in the series!
