Another hit by McFadden, who is apparently my author of the year 2025. I enjoyed this thrilling tale of a girl trying to leave her past behind while the past keeps chasing after her. As usual, the twist at the end wasn’t something I predicted and that’s why I keep coming back for more McFadden.
