Okay I've been curious about what the book would be like ever since I found out there WAS a book. I've seen the movie at least three times so I thought it was time to read the book. You know its always interesting to see the differences between the book and the movie...I don't know if its because I saw the movie first but I like the movie better...In the book Jamie seemed not as smart and didn't roast him as she had in the movie. Some of the elements that liked the most in the movie weren't even in the original book. The biggest one being there was no list of things she wanted to do in her life the only thing she said she wanted to do was get married in the church with tons of people. So in that aspect bravo movie bc that made it really fun and interesting. Then in the movie, Landon was a bad boy with bad friends doing bad things. But in the book the worst thing he did was eat peanuts in the graveyard lol. But he was still considered a "bad boy" I finished this book in one day bc it was an audio book and it went super fast. I did get more background than I had known specifically the play and why she carried around her Bible. But overall I still like the movie better except for the language and more innapropriate parts (fyi its not like that in the book rlly)
