Adorable stories, although one is basically x-rated, that i thoroughly enjoyed. Herriot has a command of words and Helen/Siegfried/Tristan are tangible characters. The illustrations are cute and add to the experience.

A bit short for my taste, and i think it is more of a kids book, sorta. Will definitely read more Herriot.
