Ali Hazelwood brought the SMUT in this one!! I mean, all her books technically have smut, BUT this is definitely her smuttiest yet.
There were some lines that worked for me (if you’re in the buddy read please enjoy those comments and don’t diagnose me). I was like, dam this is steamy, but I have read better. I think all of Ali’s smut is a tad awkward. On the plus, no mention of galaxy clothing (unless I missed it).
I will say, it definitely was easy to see where the plot was going on this one, there wasn’t a huge twist, but I was ok with it. I liked the two main characters for the most part (Ali always makes them a tad cringey) and Tiny (iykyk).
Also, a revenge plot, my Scorpio senses were tingling! But I also am someone who would rather play long con, but also get justice in my own way and move on from it. Sitting in deep resentment for a long time isn’t my style (I’m in my Saturn return, I’ve matured).
Overall an easy read, and I’ll be back next year when she releases her next one. And as alway, all the stem talk in these books goes way over my head lol.
