The use of language in this book is great and features some real laugh out loud moments as well as some deeply touching ones. However, the pacing felt a bit off, with the first part of the book being rather stagnant and even a bit of a regression for the character and the final third charging forward with almost no time for reflection. It was also a bit jarring when the perspectives suddenly started shifting among characters after being solely focused on one character for the majority of the novel.
