This is probably my thickest copy of Hamlet and I loved how helpful it was. It included the different variations of the play (the First [bad] Quarto and Second [good] Quarto, as well as the First Folio) and it would indicate the changes they made to make it as simple and modern as possible, while sticking to the original play.

I loved that the font was nice on the eyes, the explanations on one side of the page was clear and concise, and it had beautiful illustrations inside. They also included mini essays, references, a list for further readings, textual notes, and a short list of famous lines.

As for the play itself, it's just constantly a 5 star in my book. I adore this play and its characters. No matter how many times I've read it, it would still make me laugh or feel sad at the same scenes. With the way I keep talking about it, I'm so glad my friends are starting to associate this play with me, like it's my brand. I truly am obsessed with the Prince of Denmark.

I think this could be my favourite copy of Hamlet so far (apart from Barron's side by side modern translation), and I'd recommend this for anyone who's interested. I don't regret this purchase at all, and I loved it a lot.
