Another solid book in the Red Rising series, technically the end of a trilogy but there are quite a few more books. This didn't quite have the same punch for me as Golden Sun but it has so many characters I remember and enjoy, a few I didn't even recall from previous books, and some new additions.
It was a fun read with some very cinematic battle sequences and some interspersed quiet character scenes which I always like the most. Some twists I saw coming but some I didn't, and even the stuff I guessed early was still satisfying to read.
There were plenty of rousing speeches, but I didn't write down any specific quotes from the book like I did with the first two. I'm also not sure I particularly liked the wrap up but since there are more books, that means it's not really the end! I think there is still plenty more to do in this world, and I'm curious to see where it all goes.
