If You are familiar with the Hello Series from Kelsi you'll know we have followed one family of siblings (the Griffens), some of their friends, and now we are reaching the end of another family (the Madigans) with Hayes. NOW Do NOT let the fact that you would be jumping neck deep into a series deter you if you haven't read any of the previous. They are all stand alone, and you can go back and read them if this is your first. You'll only find out the names of some of the couples who got together in previous books.
In Trouble we get the story of Cottonwood Falls' favorite bad boy, Hayes. He's never one to settle down and the WHOLE town knows it. Especially Della, the BFF of his SIL, who is 100% hands off material. The thing is Della and Hayes have a favorite hobby, pushing each others buttons. And when Della finds out Hayes claims to hate hot chocolate, rather than letting it go, she brings a flight of hot chocolates to his work to PROOVE HIM WRONG. Because there is no way on Earth anyone is immune to the glory of hot chocolate. (I agree Della). Naturally though neither of them can leave it alone.
This book is a frenemies to lovers book. Where big choices are made, and baggage that both of our MCs have been carrying gets unpacked. It's a slow burn, but the build up is for REAL. It smolders and I don't know about you all but I just wanted to reach in and just smack our boi. In the end though they get the HEA they both need, want, and deserve, and I loved it. And there looks to be another Hello HEA in the future!
