The Fourth Power by Juan Giménez
1.0
However, if Fables was a letdown, at least I finished it. I couldn't even get that far with The Fourth Power.
Sci-fi trappings, a woman engineered to be the ultimate weapon, intergalactic war and elaborate space and ship sequences combine in a story with dull, tepid characters and no real point.
On the plus side, Gimenez's art is lushly detailed, graphic and intense. However, he could work on establishing a frame of reference for his action sequences better, because I had trouble following most of them.
