Cecily is in a NY bar and thinking of calling her ex when a stranger tells her not to do it. This sparks a whirlwind relationship between Cecily and Grant. Cecily is head over heels, but when Grant is missing following the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center, Cecily learns that things are not what they seem.
This is my favorite Emily Giffin novel. I thought the characters were well developed. The storyline moved at an even pace. This was a quick read and I enjoyed it!
