The Sunshine Court

A consistent thread in her writing is that the characters live through the most unspeakable events and traumas
I really struggle with the degree of violence. I think it quickly deviates from tackling devastating and disturbing topics to being overcome with horror/shock factor. It’s hard for me to articulate, but it at times feels like the writing is careless- which is not okay.
Outside of this huge criticism there are still things I love about this stupid series. I loved Jeremy, Laila, Cat, Jean quad. And thank god love to see neil having a diva off with the fbi just like old times. Also shout out to the narrators commitment to the french accent.
