This book actually changed my brain chemistry. 2024 was a really hard year for me. I lost my mom and I had a big friendship changes and I was truly mourning the life I had. 

Promise me sunshine feels like a love letter to the people who have lost loved ones and have to learn how to live in the wake of change. It’s also a reminder that we can move forward no matter how hard it seems. 

The characters are so lovable and the friendships that are made are very heartfelt. 

One of the most beautiful books I have ever read and will forever stick with me in the best way.
