Moonlighter by Sarina Bowen
5.0

Ever since the Brooklyn Bruisers Series, I fell in love with Sarina Bowen's books. And this new series were very much anticipated, alright! Seriously, she can really write sports romance! I'm so excited where this series will take us!

Eric, for him, hockey is his life and nothing else matters. But he will always remember the girl he played with every summer years ago. And now, two decades later they met again, but he wished it was under better circumstance because she didn't recognised him.

Alex is in need for new security detail and who is better at it than Max Bayer, Eric's brother. After the embarrassing encounter where she didn't recognised him, the last thing she want is to have Eric pretending to be her boyfriend in Hawaii. But, I guess it is just what she needs to remind her of the good times they had as kids, or even now as adults...

From hockey to protecting the girl, Eric finds himself even more attached to care and protect Alex and the more time they spend together, the more they find themselves to need each other

I just love Eric and Alex together! They are very sweet and cute together. Some witty banters and not just with each other, but also with the robot Bingley! I swear Bingley's funny! There's a lot of talks about tech stuff, which I don't understand, but that doesn't bore me. There's a little but of suspense too and it just keep you on the edge of your seat trying to find out the truth!

This is highly recommended!
