It was dedicated to Terry Pratchett, which pricked up my ears right away, and I was delighted to discover that it carried quite a bit of his trademark whimsy and willingness to engage with the world from all kinds of interesting angles. It was also hilariously filthy, with a clever plot and lovable characters.
