The title might sound quirky, but it really is the key to everything in this book. The writing style is clever and unique, with fourth-wall breaks woven seamlessly into the narrative, making the reading experience feel fresh and engaging.

That said, while the humor, narration style, and family drama all added to the charm, the pacing felt a little slow at times. I enjoyed the final chapters when the mystery unraveled, but I wasn’t as hooked throughout the middle as I expected to be. It’s not that it was bad—just not quite as consistently fun as I had hoped.

On the mystery front, I can’t say I solved it! I had my suspicions but definitely missed a few clues along the way, which made the reveal all the more enjoyable.

Overall, this was an inventive, witty, and entertaining read, even if the slower pacing kept it from being a full five stars. A solid 4/5 and one I’d still recommend for fans of quirky, self-aware mysteries.
