The Perfect Predator: A Scientist's Race to Save Her Husband from a Deadly Superbug: A Memoir
by Steffanie Strathdee, Thomas Patterson
A fascinating page turner about an epidemiologist racing to save her husband’s life after he contracts one of the deadliest superbugs. Woo! Y’all, this was a harrowing, couldn’t put it down adventure. The science was enthralling, and for the most part written in an understandable way. Steffanie and Tom’s relationship and scientific backgrounds were engaging, as well as the science history sprinkled in to help readers. The experience they went through in fighting the bug was so interesting, yet horrifying. I throughly enjoyed this book! I would recommend it to fans of sci fic thrillers and pandemic stories.
