Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce

3.0

3.25 stars. A pleasant, easy read for younger audiences who don’t mind a few descriptive battle scenes! This wasn’t as engaging as Pierce’s other series’ despite all of the action. Though one of the central themes was family (both blood and found) the character’s relationships felt quite shallow. But again, this one is definitely targeted at a younger audience, and it is only the first book.
