adriannepeterson 's review for:
Gideon's Sword
by Douglas Preston, Lincoln Child
The entire time I was reading this, I was thinking Keanu Reeves action flick, with requisite shallow character, minimal dialogue, to good to be true coincidences, and nonstop action. This is a new character (series) from Preston & Child, and perhaps it will appeal to younger audiences who want a quick thriller? Not much depth in the plot, very thin overall. Oh well, I just hope they haven't put Agent Pendergast on the shelf. ;-)
