I found it kinda hard to like Rufus. The way the author conveyed the way he spoke didnt seem realistic for me personally. I really liked Mateo though. He was by far my favorite. The premise of story was kinda interesting but i felt maybe it couldve been stretched out to a week rather than a day. It made the connection of the two boys not feel as genuine to me because how well can you really know someone in one day? I know they mentioned that but still i couldnt get past that. Also if i have to read Rufus say “mad” one more time imma rip my hair out. i hope the tea mateo was gonna make was bomb as fuck
