Water Sleeps by Glen Cook

3.0

I sort of go on just to see how it ends but it's the second book in a row that it's like "100 pages of machinations and dialogue, followed by one of actual action". I don't mind dialogues and development but I feel like Cook has by now become too prone to hint at big things and when we are facing them, make them happen so quickly that it doesn't feel like they happened at all.

Wow, what a long period. I mean that I don't feel compelled to read anymore, the big events and revelations never feel big. Even deaths of big characters are written like "he was killed. Then x decided to leave" and on and on. Dismissively.

Ok, time to finish this series. I guess
